Sugar Factory – Dallas, Texas

Sugar Factory offers brunch, lunch, and dinner. The menu features burgers, pizzas, pasta, salads, larger than life milkshakes like the Insane Milkshake- dripping in 24k gold leaves, and colorful rainbow dishes.

This sweet restaurant is perfect for Instagrammable moments. No seriously, PERFECT! The expansive space features large, brightly colored flower walls perfect for posing, like the huge rose wall in the main area. Plus, an elaborate and three-dimensional floral ceiling. I took several pictures that I’m obsessed with. Although, the buck hardly stops there for me when it comes to dining. The immersive space also features a video wall and a glimpse into the candy retail store;there are more than 50 types of sweet treats sheathing the walls. I could see the little ones getting “chocolate wasted” inside the candy store. This could easily be an ideal location for a kid’s birthday lunch!

Did someone say celebrity-approved goblets?! Like The Rock’s Soul Man with his Teremana Tequila; 50 Cent’s Candy Shop with Branson Cognac; Travis Scott’s Strawberry Hustle with Cacti Spiked Seltzer; Bruno Mars’ Watermelon Piña Colada and Mai Tai made with SelvaRey Rum. These XL margarita glasses are smoky. The smoking drinks craze thats been becoming more and more trendy is caused from dry ice. Definitely gives those potion vibes. With such star studded names, I’d be expecting a Rock Bottom or some 24k Magic to be happening with the drinks. Sadly, my overall conception of the food and beverages was rubbish. I don’t care who approved it. Each drink starts at $18+. Filled with what tastes like only juice and candy. Also worth mentioning, some of the drinks don’t even reference any alcohol at all in their descriptions. No difference with the food. The beer-battered calamari was rubbery. And the only menu item that was a step above mediocre, decent, was the cajun chicken penne alfredo. Someone mentioned the brunch to me through social conversation, but that was in one ear and out the other.

If not for the ambiance and vibes, I doubt I’d have much good to report to y’all. As you know already, I want to hear y’all’s thoughts. Will you go? Have you been and what did you think?
