Y’all Yafa SLAPS! I mean, this is like one of the most authentic Mediterranean spots I’ve found. One of my college friends was in town from Houston. Of course, we had to catch up. Naturally, I was dubbed the food chooser and so when my first option was closed, I looked up something nearby. Yafa nearly had a 5-star rating on most platforms! I thought surely there was something I was missing out on. So I text gang gang the addy and we launched over there like a rocket!
our chefs are excited to present dishes from their homeland to all our guests. Our caring and family-oriented staff will ensure you have a fantastic experience with us.

When I pulled up, I was a bit alarmed by how small the establishment was. Literally 3 tables, no restrooms, the register area, and the kitchen. I became more and more skeptical as every second passed. I ordered hummus (a safety zone order), and to my surprise, they had fresh harissa. So no spicy hummus, but I liked that I had the ability to dip in the harissa as much as I’d like and then into the hummus; controlling the perfect bite for me! And guys the hummus, sooooooo smooth! They really grounded the life out of those chickpeas. With tahini and garlic, topped with olive oil and garnished with some whole chickpeas, this could be one of the best I’ve had. Their lunch special featured sandwiches. Any sandwich comes with fries and a drink for $7.99. I got the Shish Tawook, a staple. It is made with scrumptious garlic sauce and pickles then wrapped pita bread. Believe me when I say the pita is fresh fresh! The quality from the ingredients to the hands making the dishes is really quite impeccable. This is definitely a hidden gem if you’re a Meditteranean fan!
