I recently met up with Rachel Chang, Senior Marketing Manager of Legacy West Plano! She and I had a blast sipping on Bulla’s selection of sangrias and chopping it up! I witnessed her speak during the Dallas Black Bloggers Conference this past year and was thrilled with all the information she shared about working with large brands/agencies! So, I asked if she had some free time for lunch and she was down. I chose Bulla Gastrobar.
BULLA GASTROBAR IS A FUN CASUAL GATHERING PLACE INSPIRED BY THE MOST POPULAR TAPAS RESTAURANTS IN SPAIN.

Bulla began as the brainchild of Carlos Centurion, former owner of por fin and buzz-creating guru. He and his team of seasoned restauranteurs set out to create the kind of place that stirs the senses and stimulates the appetite. Inspired by the famous gastrobars in Spain, Bulla was born.
We both started with sangrias. If you didn’t know, I’m not really the biggest drinker. I really prefer to drink socially and normally, I’m one and done! Buuuuuuuut, if you want me to drank… Sangria! 🍹 This drink originates in Spain and Portugal and is very much like Jungle Juice except there’s no fraternity involved and you can really customize it how you’d like! The color of sangria changes based on the kind of wine you use. Yes, traditional sangria calls for red wine and includes fruit juices, sweeteners, soda/sparkling water, fresh fruit and flavored liquor! Bulla’s Sangria Blanca seemed like it was made just for me. It’s made with a white sparkling wine, peach schnapps, triple sec, strawberries and blueberries! It was not overly sweet and had the perfect stiff swallow. Honestly, I could have had twenty more of these!
Again, thanks to my newest gal, Rachel for joining me at lunch! She ordered this bomb Kale Caesar with Shrimp and it comes with a serrano-caesar dressing, manchego cheese and croutons! I’ve heard the paella is an option you cannot go wrong with too!
